From 5/8/2021 we have changed our prices due to the increase in fuel and supplies
We are unable to sell honey from a relocated hive due to contamination issues caused during the beehive relocation.
This means honey from a relocated hive doesn't offset any of our costs.
Honey is fed back to the bees during quarantine.
If the hive has a little to spare we will happily give you a small amount so you can taste the honey from the hive in your structure.
We won't give you any honey if we feel the bees don't have enough to give or if we feel the honey is too contaminated.
We have all our insurances including $20 million public liability as well as Red and White Cards.
We have completed works for a diverse range of organisations. Most organisations require us to quote outside of our below rates based on their unique requirements.
Organisations we work for include:-
* The Defense Force
* NBN
* V/Line
* CFA
* Many local councils
* Telstra
If you require an estimate of cost we charge this fee however should you have us relocate the bees this paid fee, plus the paid travel cost, comes off the final cost of the relocation.
This fee isn't taken off the cost if there's no beehive, if we identify wasps and not bees or if you have someone else relocate the beehive.
We require this fee including travel to be paid in advance of our attending your location.
Charged to the nearest half an hour (30min = $62.50 inc GST).
Minimum hours for less than two hours travel is two hours.
Minimum hours for more than two hours travel is three hours.
Most new beehive relocations take between 2-3 hours.
Hives that have been there longer can take longer to complete.
Travel is charged from our closest relocation specialist from you who can complete the relocation safely.
Plus one hour of work on top of this rate
If we have to go through bricks or concrete to access the beehive we charge a one off fee per hive
If we need to use a chainsaw to access the beehive we charge a one off fee per hive
If there's no power on site and we need to provide a generator we charge a one off fee per hive

This covers bringing the scaffolding to site and taking it away.
It doesn't cover time setting up and packing up.
Scaffolding is a set fee regardless of how long the scaffolding is required to be on site up to one week.
Beyond one week we charge $660 inc GST per each additional week.
We only do full week hires regardless of how long the scaffolding is required.
Many scaffolding companies are cheaper so we advise you to shop around for a certified scaffolding suitable for the relocation.
For any relocation where we are at a height of over one meter from the ground we charge this one off fee per hive.
Some organisations require us to work at night. This fee only applies when the bulk of the relocation is required to take place after 5pm.
Minimum 2 hours
There's an hourly rate plus travel on top of this base rate.
We specialise in Relocating bees once they have moved in to a tree or structure as such for swarm collection we suggest you touch base with your local bee club or go to www.swarmpatrol.com and register the swarm.
Many of these organisations will collect swarms for free or a donation.
Hours include getting the swarm into a hive box and then collecting the swarm hive after dark once the bees are all in the hive box.
Plus Travel per visit.
Trap Outs are a specialist Beehive Relocation which we only use where we can limit the hive to one exit and no cutting to the structure can take place.
This is usually reserved for trees where the tree can not be cut in to.
Trap Outs can take up to fifteen visits.
They are the usually the most expensive type of beehive relocation.
At times a hive is behind asbestos. Should you require us to still relocate the hive then we will work with an Asbestos Remover (the asbestos removers fees at your expense) to safely remove the asbestos. This fee applies per hive where we are required to work near asbestos.
We will collect abandoned beehives.
We don't charge to collect abandoned living beehives in a standard hive box arrangement nor do we pay due to the work required in order to put the hives through quarantine and replace materials.
We will assist with sorting out beehives from deceased estates. Should we keep the beehives we do not pay for them due to the work in quarantine and materials and bio-security checks.
Should the hives be going to someone else all our normal fees apply for bio-security checks and such.
Should honey extraction be required we will discuss this separately.
Pollination Rates per hive
